After making a reservation, we give a client 24 hours to make a down payment. As soon as we have received that down payment we confirm the reservation. When the down payment is not received in time, we may cancel the reservation.
The down payment amount is 30% of the total rental cost with a minimum of the cost of 3 rental days. Plus the costs we make before we hand you over the rental vehicle. That is always the preparation cost. But it will be more when we have to deliver the vehicle somewhere.
This required down payment is non-refundable. Clients may consider a larger down payment to avoid carrying cash. Please note that we do not accept credit cards for the payment of the rental.
For the down payment we use Payoneer payment services (https://www.payoneer.com). No registration is required. Within the Euro zone the down payment can be transfered to a bank account in Germany, so we are talking about a SEPA payment. Outside the Eurozone we send a payment request to the client and then can be paid with a credit card (within the US also with an eCheque). All transaction costs are always assumed by the client. In other words what we receive in our hands at this end is the down payment amount.
